Q: What is the battery life for my Power Tag kit?

A: Thanks to our power saving feature, your Power Tag kit will get up to 3 hours of battery life.

Q: Can the infrared be harmful if it is shined directly in a player’s eyes?

A: No, Power Tag uses infrared technology with a 940nm wavelength, which is invisible to the human eye. This product does not contain laser technology.

Q: What batteries are required for Power Tag’s kits to operate?

A: The Power Tag gun and Battle Blaster both require 4 AA batteries to operate, while the vest requires 3 AAA batteries to operate. Batteries are not included in your Power Tag Kit and must be purchased separately.

Q: What is the limit to the team size for each game of Power Tag?

A: Power Tag can be played with as many players as you want, however, each kit comes ready for 6 players. For more than 6 players, additional kits will need to be purchased.

Q: How can you determine who wins a game?

A: Each player can take 9 damage to their vest, gun, or Battle Blaster. Once the player has sustained 9 points of damage, their device will vibrate with sound and flash the player’s team color, signaling that they have been eliminated. Once the players on all other teams have been eliminated, the remaining team is the winner!

A: Each firing mode deals a different amount of damage points.
